As one of the most active working ceramicists in Taiwan, Ting-Ju Shao has been working with clay for almost twenty years. Shao's works feature a wide spectrum and are thus well known internationally. For years she has been actively participating in international competitions and meetings, and is constantly being invited as a resident and visiting artist in art centers and colleges around the world. With these remarkable cultural exchange experiences, her works reveal the characteristics of both Taiwan ceramics and ceramics worldwide.
