    Pottery Bird
    22x19x43 cm, 1995
    Porcelain, Glaze
The piece was originally the body of a vase. The creator twisted the bottle neck with a candid push and bent it into the shape of a bird’s head. Through improvisation, the top of the work turned into a bird of its own style while the base retained its original shape.

    Pottery Bird
    19x16x31 cm, 1989
    Porcelain, Glaze
The creator exploited the qualities of the media and made the work through cutting, building, pressing and folding. The eyes and the body of the bird were captured in line. The surface was smoke-fired. It leaves the audience space for imagination.

    Pottery Pig of Long Life
    25x20x24 cm, 1995
    Clay
This pottery pig was formed by using the slab-building technique. The pig lifts its head as it is rreminiscing about the youth. There are wrinkles on the forehead, showing his old age.
