Taiwanese Glamour in Modern Glaze

This exhibition is an introduction to several exemplary ceramists who specialize in glaze and displays some of the most beautiful artistic treasures from Taiwan. Lin Pao-chia, for instance, is a groundbreaker from the early days of contemporary Taiwanese ceramics. Wang Hsiu-kung and Sun Chao were also among the first to modernize the field. Tsai Jung-yu represents the second generation of ceramists who continued to innovative traditons. Jiang You-ting is a third-generation ceramist who infuses individuality into his works. We hope that these works will help people to recognize the modern achievement in glaze technology and to appreciate the hard work and esthetic styles of ceramists.
