In 1968, Small and Medium Enterprise Division of Economic Cooperation Council started to adopt key-point guidance to ceramic industry, establish ceramic industry improvement task force, and subsidize Joint Industrial Institute to establish a ceramic lab, to provide ceramic technology and raw material improvement test service, through seminar and training, to upgrade the suppliers’ technical level.

On the other hand, concerning export of suppliers, other incentives of financial loan and export tax return were provided, to facilitate the export trade of ceramic industry at this time to enter its high growth period.

There are numerous kinds of export ceramics, including construction ceramics, sanitation ceramics, art ceramics, White Ceramic Ware, semi-ceramics, resistor, etc. Besides, “Three-color Tzu” and “Bisque fired flower vase” also account for the mass.

“Three-color Tzu” refers to the dinner sets for daily use purpose, with beige color at lower part, brown color of upper part, and overlaid two colors in the middle part. Yingge once received mass orders for export to Europe and the United States. This kind of dinner set is fully of foreign style, foreign pattern decoration, and manufactured completely for export. In those years, nearly all suppliers manufacturing ceramics for daily use purpose had experience of producing the “Three-color Tzu”, to earn considerable foreign currency for Taiwan. Only the soup pot and soup cup section facilitated a small kiln plant to earn the revenue of a whole independent building. The high profit so involved can be easily perceived.
