  • Japanese Rule and Yingge
    The ceramic industry of Yingge since the Ching Dynasty till former period of the Japanese reign has generally maintained a similar pattern. Only in the latter period of Japanese reign, changes caused by direct and indirect factors appeared. In particular, after industrialization was enforced by the Japanese government during the Japanese reign period in Taiwan, the induced tools, raw material and technology by Japanese government indirectly caused impact on the essence of Yingge ceramic industry. On the other hand, the changes of Yingge ceramic industry can be discussed in such 3 parts as the economic structure of ceramic industry, war influence and Yi Cheng Chi.
