Celadon Lidded Incense Burner
Inspired by ash glaze pottery originated from ancient China, this work combines with the elegance and serenity of celadon for expressing the beauty of balance between glaze and shape.
Celadon Bowl, Soro
By this new work, the artist intends to open a new door for new creativity. The inspiration comes from the shape of a lotus flower's leaf. As a ceramist working with clay, his goal is to develop the properties of this material. The property of clay is recognized as "being caved in with finger press". Therefore, the spirit of pottery creation is developed with the ideas such as "to present warmth, to seek for inspiration from nature, to present softness, to well-develop the plasticity of clay."
