This vase has a round opening, a long neck, a large round belly and a circular base. The lower part of the rim is decorated with two string lines that go round the neck.The belly is decorated with a scrolling floral design that is made up of almost casual thick rough lines, an indication that by the time of the Qing dynasty this type of decorative art had almost reached the end of its popularity. The body of the vessel is grey-white and covered with a green-yellow glaze that is shiny and covered with a fine crack pattern.
